E as Palavras são: insano, árvores, vento, efervescente, ponto de referência, método
Ele tinha tido um dia insano.
As árvores sacudiam com o forte vento.
A espuma efervescente que se formava anunciava que o mar estava revolto.
O menino tomado de pavor dirigiu-se para o ponto de referência: O velho casarão abandonado.
Lá ficou por muito tempo até que, finalmente, seu amigo apareceu.
Depois de longa caminhada, no temporal, os meninos todos encharcados chegaram em casa.
Fábio lembrou-se da frase de René Descartes que seu avô não cansava de repetir:
"Não existem métodos fáceis para resolver problemas difíceis"

It becomes more than just shelter; it feels symbolic, almost like the boys are navigating fear and uncertainty while trying to find stability in the middle of chaos. Old houses in stories often carry that kind of emotional weight because they represent memory, mystery, or survival.
ResponderExcluirI also liked the contrast between the physical storm and the philosophical ending with the Descartes quote. The final line reframes the whole piece. Suddenly the difficult journey through the wind and rain feels connected to a larger idea about life itself: there are moments when persistence matters more than finding an easy answer. Grandparents repeating philosophical phrases is also very relatable. Many people carry small sayings like that for years without fully understanding them until they experience hardship themselves.
